Frances: Could you look up Jane Leak. There is an Obituary From Marriages and Obituaries from the Macon Messenger 1818-1865 by Willard R. Rocker, p. 66., December 3, 1840, Died at her residence in Wetumpka, Alabama, on the 14th of November, MRS. JANE LEAK, consort of the late REV. Samuel Leak, of Pike County, Georgia, in the 59th year of her age. She was an acceptable member of the Church upwards of 25 years.

I believe she moved there sometime after her husband Samuel Leak died in 1836 in Pike County Georgia. She moved most likely with her daughter Nancy Leak who had married Henry Vanbibber and another daughter Lucinda Leak who had married William Stringfellow.
Another family member was Tilmon or Tilman Leak who later became a judge.
thanks
