Beverly Turpin (B.T.) Callaway was born about 1814 in Coosa Co. AL. He died in 1841 in Shelby Co. AL. He married Sabrina Jane Coker in about 1839 and they had one child, Lucy Ann Callaway born March 6, 1842 in Shelby Co. AL. She married William Martin Carver in 1861 in Choctaw Co. MS. After her father's death, her mother married Allen Gentry and they moved to Choctaw Co. MS. Willis Francis Callaway is listed as the executor of the estate of B.T. Callaway along with a Jobe, John, and a Benjamin Calloway who are listed as purchasers of some of the estate of B. T. Callaway. Is Willis Francis Callaway a brother of B. T. Callaway and how are the other Callaways related to B. T. Callaway? How are they related to the Benjamin Callaway who has land patents in Dallas and Lowndes Co. in 1829, 1830, 1831, and 1834? Is he related to the Jobe Callaway who is listed in the 1816 census for Monroe Co. AL? Would appreciate any help or advice that anyone can give me on my Callaway line.
