I am looking for Letters written by my Civil War ancestor, Caleb Garner 1838-1865? Caleb was the son of Absalom and Sarah Garner, of Conecuh County, AL. Caleb enlisted in the 4th Alabama Regiment (Conecuh County, Guards) Company E. If there are any Garner's in the Conecuh County area, That are ancestors of Absalom 1801-1865? and Sarah Garner 1810-1880? Please email me at: I have been trying to find the wereabouts of my 3rd great grandparents for several years the 1860 Conecuh County census record shows that Absalom and Sarah were living in Conecuh County and the census record was listed at the Sepulga, Post Office, in Conecuh County. The post office and the town no longer exist, just the river. If any of th elocal residents of Conecuh County, knows anything about the Garners. Your help would be appreciated. Pictures would also help as well.
