Elba Public Library

On a recent visit to Elba, I stopped by The Elba Clipper office to see if I could search their archives. They informed me that the flood of 1990 destroyed their archives. They have nothing earlier than 1990.

The Elba Public Library has The Elba Clipper on microfim and thay have them back to 1905. That is great! But their microfilm reader has no printer.

The Friends of the Elba Public Library is planning money-making events in an effort to raise the funds to purchase a printer for the microfilm reader. If you would like to contribute to the fund, you may contact the Elba Public Library.

Leave me a note here and I will give you their email address or telephone number. If you are in or around Coffee County, you can look it up the telephone directory.

Thank you.

Linda
