Asbury Coke Jones 1833-1882

I have seen the 1860 census, in which Lauretta Jane Jones, wife of Asbury Coke Jones, was living at home with her parents, Ephraim and Tabitha Barker. She had two children, John Green Jones and Mary Tabitha Jones, with her, according to the census list.

I have been unable to find a listing for Asbury or possibly A.C. Jones in the 1860 census. I am wondering if since he was later listed as a physcian by trade, if could have been away at medical school or other form of training. If anyone can solve this mystery, please let me know.
