Robert Alexander & Sarah Walden Shaddix family moved to Talladega/Clay Co., 1850-1860 from Coweta Co., GA, with their 13 children. Their son Robert Washington married Laurie Jane McDougal in Talladega/Clay. Laurie Jane dau. of James & Elizabeth McSwain McDougal. I need information on James & Elizabeth McDougal family.
Loyd L Shaddix, grandson of Robert W & Laurie Jane, married Lovie J Mulkey in 1917. Lovie the dau. of James Marion & Lydia Jane Nimon Mulkey. Need information on the parents of Lydia Jane, George & Louisa Kelly Nimon.

The Robert A & Sarah W. Shaddix children married into the Dover, Turner, Bolin/Bowling/ Strickland, Pannell, Webb, Clark/Smith, Elder, Holloway families. Any information on these families would be helpful.

Wm. Marion, son of Robert A & Sarah, married Mary Dover first, she died & he married Elvina Lanier of Lawrence Co., Tn. Need information on Mary Dover's family. Was she Mary Robertson/Robinson who married a Dover who then died and she married Wm. Marion, as Mary Dover??

Alexander, Jr. & Sarah P. Thornton-Wray Walden moved to Ala in 1840, son Andrew Ray Walden was born in Ala in 1840. A, Jr. & Sarah are the parents of Sarah m. Robert W. Shaddix; Lucinda Emilee m. Rev. Samuel McKay; Martha m. John Thomas McKay; Amanda m. Joseph Heath; Nancy m. James M. Herrage; Wm Jackson m. #1. Mahulda Shipp, #2.Unknown McDonald, #3. Louisa Jane Wallis; Elizabeth m. Joseph T. Jones . Need information on the other children of Alexander & Sarah, they had at least 10, by early Ga census records. Sarah P Thornton was young widow of Andrew Wray.
