Dont hold it as 100% fact as things change, but I'm fairly certain its all called Gibsonville. Like I said my tie to the Suggs is through the Golden family, whom I think an Elizabeth Suggs married Newton Golden if I'm not mistaken. He was an Uncle of mine (3rd Great Uncle I think). They are buried at Lystra. Reason I say Gibsonville is because Newton's Father and my 3rd Great Grandfather Jonathan W. Golden is buried at the "Old Wicker Family Cemetery" and thats how I found it and know now they call it Gibsonville. Not sure when the Wicker name was dropped, but I'd guess 50's or 60's and thats just guessing. My Great Grandmother Mary Ellen Jones lived in Wicker as well and she married my Great Grandfather Charlie Green Royster. I know one of the Jones I think married a Mattox and they are buried at Lystra as well (Lystra Baptist Church is pretty much 98% of my family as is Old Liberty Hill). We owned the land from basically the National Guard Armory on Highway 9 (if you know the area well) all the way to Millerville. It was roughly the 1830's when we first came and part of our original land STILL has family on it today some 181 years later (roughly). If you need any help feel free to contact me on my email as I check it more than the boards.

Its josh.royster @ (of course take the spaces out, I dont want to get spammed)

Hope I helped!
