Joseph g & John O Grindle
Posted by: Bob Blain (ID *****1568) Date: November 27, 2010 at 17:53:21

My grandfather John O Grindle lived with George T Hobbs & his wife Elizabeth(?) according to the 1990 census. He was listed as a "bound boy" age 11. My grand father had a brother Joseph Garner Grindle who lived with Wm. H Hobbs as a boarder according to the same census. He later married Ella Hobbs. If anyone knows of the circumstances or history of this connection please contact me at 205-567-6705 or bobnora@bellsouth.net . I am sure that the Hobbs family members mentioned were in some way related to the Grindles who came to Clay County from Hall County, Ga. The boys father may have been a brother-in-law to the Hobbs? Any information will be appreciated.
