Allie L Nichols (married Walker) was not the mother of Witt Nichols she is possibly the sister as she was 19 in 1900 and Witt was twelve...George Sanders wife was her Aunt she being the dau of Thomas Jefferson Nichols and Lavinia Owens both from Ga. Her brother Thomas Douglas Nichols (Calista Cook) had Witt Nichols (12) in their household listed as adopted dau... George Sanders family and Thomas and Calista Cook Nichols moved to Cullman County prior to 1900.
