I'm sorry I haven't replyed to you earlier. In my research I find that John Clayton Ray, born October 09, 1823 in South Carolina and died May 03, 1910 and his wife Nancy Wiley, born abt 1842 (place not known) had a daughter named Alice L. Ray, born abt 1867. This sounds like the Alice Ray you are looking for. Hope this helps and I will be happy to share more information on her siblings if you will contact me.
