She was a widow of Philip Anderson see 1860 census of Talladega County Alabama and 1850 census of Randolph County. Elizabeth's maiden name may have been Lyon or Lynon. A Philip Anderson and Elizabeth Lynon were married in Madison County Heorgia in 1819. Philp and Elizabeth Anderson had a son named William C. Anderson who died in 1862 possibly killed during the War. Philip did shortly after the 1860 census was taken. William C. Anderson had married about 1843 to an Elizabeth (Possibly Lott). After W.C. Andersons death, the widow Elizabeth married Widower Rev. Gibson Washington Joiner and
They removed to Bell County Texas about 1865. The elder Elizabeth Anderson lived with Charles Jeremiah Rascoe on land he leased from the Andersons.
