The William Darling White family moved to Talladega County and the surrounding area from about 1858 from Walton County, Georgia. William D. White was married to Sarah A. Green. They are buried in Ashland, Clay County, Alabama.
William and Sarah’s children were John Robert White (Talladega County), James Henry White (Clay County), Mary Elizabeth White, Cornelius J. White, William (Westly) F. White (unknown), Joseph Allen White (Clay County), Sarah White, David Marion White (Coosa County), and Martha Eugenia White (Kiowa County, Oklahoma).
Children of John Robert White and Mary E. Jackson were Sarah E. H. White (b. 1866), Laura B. White (b. 1868), William K. White (b. 1870), Rosa D. White (b. 1872), Julia D. White (b. 1874), John H. White (b. 1876), David A. White (b. 1880), Mary F. White (b. 1882), Martha A. White (B. 1884), and Joseph P. White (b. 1886).
Children of James Henry White and Ella C.V. Folk were Ora Ella White (b. 1865), Dora Leila White (b. 1867), Willie Permilia White (b. 1869), Emma Lee White (b. 1871), James David Bascomb White (b. 1873), Beulah Sarah White (b. 1875) and Tilden Hendricks White (b. 1876)
Children of Joseph Allen White and Sarah Jane Mayo were Martha Cornelia White (b. 1874), Dorothy White (b. 1875), Mary E.
