Hi Patricia,

I do not know of any Civil War photos of Charles Shockley Cole.

My cousins and I have not been able to find out much about his Civil War time. Some of my cousins have been to Meridien, Miss., and also to Vicksburg to try to find where he is buried, but they did not have any success.

William Shockley Cole, the grandson of Charles Shockley Cole, said that Charles Shockley was buried near a river. Unfortunately, William Shockley is now deceased, so we cannot ask him details.

If you find out any more info, I would appreciate your sharing it, and I will do the same.

Thanks,
Sandra
