The Talladega County marriages have never been published, except locally, so you should write the courthouse for John and Elizabeth's marriage record. Also, in case you don't know, Clay County was created in 1866, partially from Talladega County.

You can get the death certificates from Vital Statistics in Montgomery. See the AL archives website for instructions on how to get copies of these records. The death certificates will show place of burial and should list parents as well.
