Robert M. Morgan

I'm seeking information about Robert M. Morgan, Jr., who was buried in Sulphur Springs in January 1947. He was born in about 1876 in Alabama, or possibly Georgia. He probably moved to Sulphur Springs in the early 1920s, but was living in Texas in 1913, and possibly earlier.

He was married to Una Addie Ramsey Foster in Miller Cty, Arkansas, in 1913. They had a daughter, Amanda Maude, in 1916. Addie had a son, Joe, from a previous marriage.

There is a possibility that Robert was married previously, to a Minnie Jones, in Texas (married in 1900). Children were Mildred, Merle, and Yowell Spann Morgan. Minnie was remarried in 1913 to a Charles Spann, but I'm not sure if she was divorced or widowed, or what. And I'm not sure of the connection between the youngest child's name and the surname of her second husband since the child Spann was born before the remarriage and appears on the census with Robert Morgan as the father...

Robert's parents were Robert M. Morgan and (?Martha?) McCutcheon. The 1880 census lists a family with children Henry, Robert, and Palestine, in Clarke Cty, Alabama, but I don't know if it's the same family.

I have very little information about him and my family doesn't know anything about him. An obituary could be extremely helpful, or any other clues. I'm also more than willing to provide what little information I have if you're looking. Feel free to email: sefelland@yahoo.com
