Thanks for the information. My William L Moore was born in Clarke CO AL, 1833, however, there was another William L. Moore that had a land grant and he was older. So many Moores and so much to learn. My William L. Moore came to Texas but I am still looking for two of his children. A daughter and a son, William L. Moore, Jr. I do not know the daughter's name. They were in Karnes CO, by July 1874 and obtained a land grant. I know he had other siblings and hope someday to find other descendants of Thomas and Winnie Moore, married 1832 in Clarke CO, AL.
