I would have to agree. When I first started doing genealogy about 5 years ago, I found the familysearch.org very difficult . . . after working with it a while AND discovering the batch numbers I use it quite frequently for marriage lookups.
I don't know if I told you but if you google IGI batch numbers you will find sites that have "found" the batch numbers you need already . . . Hugh Wallis has one of the best (although even his site is NOT all inclusive) . . . when I visit family search I most always search a particular database IGI or the census on occasion - very rarely do I search "all" databases.
One more thing, you can also just search by first name or date when you enter the batch number . . .I have found some marriages badly mistranscribed that I wouldn't have found if I wasn't searching by date . . . also check the counties surrounding Chilton as well.
Good luck in your research and your are welcome to join us at the Chilton County Genealogy Yahoo Group!
