Thank you so much for providing this information. I am trying to locate Jim Dyche (age? Maybe 30'ish) and wife Nancy Jane (Edge) (about 24 in 1850) with children James(about 9), William (about 5) and possibly John (2or 3?) and Sarah (1 or 2) somewhere between Lumpkin County (probably), Georgia and Fayetteville, TN, on the 1850 census. Actually, I would like to find them anywere, on ANY census. I saw the listing for Dyche on the 1850 Cherokee County, AL, census and was hoping I had found them - but the William C. Dyche or the R. Dyke don't fit the profile I am looking for. Again, I thank you for the look-up.
