Thanks John, sorry I was so long in replying to you but I have been away. Yes I would like the articles on the Paytons. Also was Gadsden known as Alabama City? I noticed you had census records for Jackson Co. Al. Do you have any listings for a Columbus (Lum) Smith and his wife Elizabeth (Lizzie)? It would be in the late 1800s and early 1900s...Thank you so much! I will e-mail you my address.
