James Adams Cherokee Co. 1850 and 1860

James Adams and wife Martha were in Cherokee Co. at the 1850 and 1860 censuses. Martha wea there apparetnly a widow in 1880. James was born circa 1821 in SC. Their children were Jim, John, Joe, Mary Frances and Jane. I think John was the John W. Adams (1861-1936) buried with his wife Lizzie (1868-1939) at Hopewell Advent Cemetery. If that's the right John Snead and wife, they had no children. John and wife visted back and forth with GA nieces in the 20s or 30s. They were daughter of Mary Frances who married William Beasley Snead and lived her married life until death in 1933 in Fayette Co., GA. Jane is said to have married and moved to Texas. I have been looking for information on this family for decades. Can anyone help?
