wThe only info I have so far is Isabella Hester married Joseph Notley or Nodley Norris, referred to later as "Old Notty Norris" in Baldwin County, Al., thats the eastern shore of Mobile, different county, but I'm told and read that it is one of the oldest counties in Alabama. Their daughter, Matilda Norris, married John Alexander McLain, Greene County, Miss. Matildas birth date is 1-l807 given at least as that..Baldwin County, Al..and she died 6-11-l858 in Greene Co., Miss. McLain was born l804 Georgia..f. sgyrt l880 Greene Co., Miss. He descends from Angus Mclain & Mary McInnis, her father John McInnis,S.C. and Nodley Norris father, William Norris, l754 no wifes name given, but states he was a Rev. War soldier for S. Carolina, info states that although no name for wife of William Norris, his wifes parents Joel Notley, and Martha Biggers?? so she may have been a Notley, thus his first name. Look for Notley and Biggers Message boards and we can leave queries. How about that route? Are you connected to my lineage through Matilda Norris, or only through the Hesters: Pat
