Ms. Haydel,
Wow, not much misses your eyes, and, once again, I am thankful. The information you found about Elijah Wilbourn and Elizabeth M. Dugan was for a book I was writing in 2003, "The Legacy of Father James H. Saye," and published in 2006. Due to not being able to confirm my suspicions, I put a long footnote in the book to explain.
I should have realized that Elijah and Eliza would eventually make it to Panola County, Miss., because so many of his kinsmen of the Bobo and Holcombe families of Union County, S.C., were already there.
If I can ever be of help, please let me know.
