By 1900 Frank and his family are found in DeKalb Co., AL. The Census lists him with wife, Carolina H., and children, Dilla F. and William D. Living next door is his oldest son, Thos. L. with wife, Lizzie B. and children, Emma F., Marion M., and Mary S. The 1910 Census of DeKalb lists only Thomas, wife Elizabeth and children, (Marion) Marshall, Mary S., Wallace and Bulah.
A search of the family trees at ancestry.com gives the parents of Frank as Stephen and Mary Ann Hester.
He was born 2 Apr 1845 (census gave Dec 1844) and died 14 July 1904 in DeKalb Co., AL. He married Caroline Wynette who was born 17 June 1845 and died 14 Feb 1908 in AL.
Children listed were Thomas L., Della, Frankie b. 22 Aug 1882, Sally and William b. 18 April 1888.
According to the family tree Frank is buried at the Stewart Cemetery, Lookout Mountain, DeKalb Co., AL.
