Is anyone out there connected to a William B.Perkins, in Cherokee Co. Ala. I am very interested in him , as I have been searching for the father?? of my g-grandfather, and we think his name could be William Perkins. I have never been able to locate them in 1850. In 1860 My gg-grandmother shows up in DeKalb Co.Ala. with her three children. Susan,James and Javan.(Javan is my g-grandfather) Anyhelp would be appreciated. I have a copy of the land records for William B.Perkins of land in Cherokee Co. dated July 15,1854. Ordered some from Virginia and some from Washington, DC. if anyone knows anything on the Perkins in Cherokee Co. please contact me. Thanks
