William Bishop in county fm 1837 to 1856

I’m looking for relatives to the William & Mary Elvira (Huggins?) Bishop family.

They lived in Cherokee Co. about 20 years. Family migrated from NC to AL around 1837 and then moved to AR after 1856. Here is my abstract of the 1850 U. S. Census: This census shows Wm. Bishop family living in the 27th District, Cherokee County, Alabama. Household includes Wm. 42, Mira (Mary Elvira) 30, Matilda 14, Jonathan 12, and Jane 5. Wm. was born in South Carolina, Mira and Matilda in North Carolina, then Jonathan and Jane in Alabama. Wm. is a Day Laborer and neither he nor Mira can read or write. (1046-1046, Page 135b, Line 39, dated 29 Jan 1851)

I can share information on the marriage and descendants of daughter Jane.
