Sue, does the Dean Family your are a part of have any connection to the Joseph J. Dean family who came to Chambers County from Morgan County, GA around 1837? Joseph's wife was Martha Woodyard. The Dean, the Woodyard and the Rutledge families seem to have travelled to Chambers together and settled in Beat 9, north of Ridge Grove.

You may contact me at tadcox@snet.net.
Thanks,
Troy
