Thanks for looking in the cemetery records. I appreciate it very much. Since posting this query I have located William Reaves/Reeves in the 1840-1860 Chambers Co cenus records and have found his second marriage and the marriages of some of his children in the Chambers Co AL Marriage Book. I believe his first wife, and probably he, were buried there, but as you say, there were few grave stones or records in the mid 1800's.
