I'm searching for more info on a James Williams who was in what was once Benton County, Al. in 1850 but is now Calhoun County, Al. He was born between 1811-1813 in SC and was married to Emiline "Emily" who was born 1813-1820. I believe they had 11 children: 1. Elizabeth, 2. Joseph, 3. Sarah, 4. John, 5. Mary, 6. Solenah/Selina "Lina", 7. Louisa/Eliza*, 8. James E. 9. George, 10. Francis M. 11 Emaline Ruth "Ruthe". I know there were alot of Williams in Benton County, Al. in 1850. I've searched the census records for James & Emaline and found they had moved several times. The 11 children were found from the census records. Louisa or "Eliza" was my ancestress. I would like to hear from anyone who is related to this family. Email me at spstricklin@earthlink.net. Type in subject line: Williams Family
