Lloyd Timmons died this past year.
As far as how the Allen's and Timmons connect:
Memory Allen's father was Edward Allen, b. 1784. He married Dolly Timmons Jan. 30, 1805 in Greenville, SC.
Edward and Dolly moved their famiy to Benton/ Calhoun Co. AL around 1836.
Dolly's Aunt, Rachel Timmons, married David Goodlett. Some of their descendants moved to Calhoun Co. around the same time as well.
I'm still keeping an eye out for your Columbus H. Allen. :)
