My gr-grandmother Caroline Elizabeth Tiller-son Tant had at least two brothers, Lease William Tillerson and George Tillerson who moved from Hall Co. GA to AL after the Civil War and settled in Calhoun Co. around Pied-
mont. They were sons of Spencer Tillerson and Nancy Asalee Holman of Hall Co. GA and
distantly related to the Tillisons around Gadsden/Hokes Bluff for whom the Tillison Bend community is named. I believe the Spencer Tillison (b. 1791) buried in the Tillison Cemetery is Gadsden was an uncle to
my ancestor Spencer Tillerson (b. ca. 1820).
Would like to hear from descendants/relations
of my gr-grandmother's brothers who went to AL.
