Do you know if your guy Memory Allen was kin to any Turners in west GA around Haralson and Coweta Counties? My gr-grandfather was Miles Allen Turner--Allen was not a common given name in the 19th century, so I suspect is was a maiden name back on the tree somewhere. The oldest son of Miles Allen Turner and Mary Anna Moore was named Memory Allen Turner. If not a connection, we have at least a spooky coincidence.
