Hi Erna, we're looking for the same people again, I believe Lummie Martin was an Allen before she married ___ Martin. She was my great-aunt and I can't place her with the Fords, so that leaves the Allens. That would have made her a daughter of Lum and sister to Lou Allen, my grandmother that married Caleb Milton Ford. Aunt Lummie had eleven children, so some of them might still be in Calhoun Co. She might be buried at Eulaton Meth. church also, you might check there. I've written some elderly cousins in Anniston, asking for info. am waiting for reply. Also, a James Sexton Allen had a son named Columbus b. abt. 1854 in Anniston, Al.
Part of that family moved to LA. I just haven't been able to tie the loose ends up. I still wish I was up there, so I could check out the churches, cemeteries, courthouses, etc. I was going to e-mail you but decided to put it on the forum. Someone else might see this and make the connection. good hunting, your Ford/Wofford cousin.
