I dont have any information on the Bobo family, but I do have some clues as to the name of the valley you mentioned. In Calhoun Co. near Jacksonville, there is a Choccolocco Valley. Also, in a book titled Dead Towns of Alabama, there is a Chalakagay that was situated near Sylacauga in Talladega Co. I hope this helps.
