I posted a while back about the digital photo database link on the Anniston-Calhoun library website. I found and identified many photos and shared them with my family members.

I decided to order some photos (the directions are on the website). I sent my order to the library to be forwarded to Lance Johnson Studios, which owns the photos and the right to make the copies. Not only did Jim Johnson, the owner, call me personally, but he assured me of the quality control that goes into his pictures. I received them today, and the work is absolutely amazing. At $15.00 per 5X7, it was a great value, and a gift I know my parents will enjoy when I give them as a birthday present for my mother this weekend.

I hope a lot of you can find some great photos on this site. I can remember the day that I checked out the website for some unrelated reason, and thinking how wonderful it was to find those old photos, completely by accident. What a great genealogical resource!
