I'm very interested in your George, too. My George's brother, Marion Taylor Brooks, also had a son named Eugene. That may not mean anything, but I'm interested in all the Brookses in Butler, Conecuh, Covington, Monroe, Lowndes, and Wilcox counties because some of them were possibly related to mine.

My Eugene Brooks (my grandmother's first cousin, was Eugene Taylor Brooks, born Feb. 6, 1891, died Sept. 14, 1918, on a battlefield in France during WWI.
