Not sure if this will be of any help, but in the

1900 United States Federal Census > Alabama > Mobile > Mobile Ward 6 > District 103

I found a John Harrison who's wife is named Mary. There is an Edward Harrison listed as a "brother" to the head of house.

This Edward was born in March of 1862. He and his father are listed as having been born in Alabama, and his mother in Ireland.

Then on this census:
1880 United States Federal Census > Alabama > Etowah > Not Stated > District 65

there is listed a J.B. Harrison with a wife named Mary with 3 children named: Jackson, William and Francis.

If I find anything else, I'll let you know.
Kim
