... trying again: I am interested in communicating with anyone who may have connections or information about the subject surnames in Bullock Co., AL. SPEEDs and LEONARDs came to Bullock from GA, perhaps from Talbot, Muscogee, Chatahoochee, or Dougherty Counties. Not sure where TARVERs and RODGERS came from. There are Af-Am families who may also have ties to white families with the same surname, if only by proximity or association. Any assistance will be appreciated.
