No listings can be found in Enon section of the "Cemetery Records of Alabama and Georgia" compiled by Mrs. S. E. Godfrey nor in the index to "RECOLECTIONS OF MY CHILDHOOD SPENT IN OLD ENON...." written by Mamie Banks Barnett. Neither the 1839 Minutes of the Bethel Babtist Church (later Enon Baptist) nor another list of members (date unknown but before 1865)contains a listing for the Howard family.
