Hazel, regarding your John F.French, here is some i On somenfo I found on the Internet. John's father was Columbus French, born 1/1849 in Georgia. His parents were fromSouth Carolina. On some census' he was listed as 'Chris". In 1875 he married Sarah Ann (I dont know her maiden name or where they were married in Ala. ) She was born 10/1856 in Ala. Per the 1900 census they had 10 children, but only 8 were still alive then. The children were: Josh Tilden (b. 10/1876); Catherine (2/1878); Jennie (6/1881); Cora ( 12/1882); William (2/1884); John F. (5/1894); Missie (??-12/1896); and mary (10/1898).John F. married Alice in 1915-16 (where ?) and their first two children were Eula (b. 1917) and Willie M. (a girl,.1919). Alice's father was Manuel. Manuel was married twice (the last wife was Eugenia). Eugenie was married twice also. I dont know if Eugenia was Alice's mother or not. Alice was born 1898. Possibly Eula was born in Montgomery Co., Ala. Bob Eddings
