I am researching my Hicks family ancestry and need information on Matthew Hick b.1794 in NC and dies Mar 3, 1868. He owned about 500 acres in Blount Co. Ran a store also. His son, Andrew Jackson Hicks b. 1848 in Carroll Co. Ga and died in 1918 in Blount Co. AL. I would like any information I can locate on this family, especially the name of Andrew Jackson Hicks' second wife, Mahalia, Haley?
