I am looking for information about William Jones, son of Joseph White Jones and Rebecca Hightower. William was born about 1822. In 1860 William and his wife were living in Lauderdale County, Mississippi, but I haven't been able to locate them since then. I know that Joseph and Rebecca and their oldest son Hugh are buried in the Jones Cemetery, but idea where William is. I noticed that Hugh died in 1864. Was he killed in the War?
