Hello, I am searching for Info. about the family and descendants of David Kersh, son of Andrew, son of Hans George Kersh. David married Elizabeth SEASE on Feb. 5, 1816, in South Carolina. They had these children--
Jacob --b.- 1828
Andrew --b.- (?)(? or A.J.-b.1845)
David --b.- (?)
Martin P. --b.- 1819
William Leonard --b.- 1833
David Joshua --b.- 1835 (?-1836)
Elizabeth W. --b.- (?)
Fannie (or Frances-?) --b.-1842
Martha Elizabeth --b.- 1838
Catherine Alabama --b.- 1825
Margaret Amanda Worthington --b.- 1840

I have Info. that David Joshua was born March 1836, Bibb County, AL, married April 6, 1876 to Nancy Jennie SNEAD in Centreville, Bibb Co., AL, and he died in 1925, in Humble, Harris County, TX. I also have Info. that David Joshua may have been married to Polly Ann BLAKEY, on Sept. 13, 1860. David Sr. was born in 1793, Barnwell County, South Carolina. His
parents are Andrew and Eva Margaretta GEYSLER
Kersh. David and his family were devote Methodists and several became Ministers and other servicemen within the Church. Several of the children were born in SC, the others were born in Alabama. I also show that Martin married Lucinda BROWN on April 10, 1842 in Bibb Co.,and in 1850 they are shown to have these children-- Wilson-b. 1843, Emily-b. 1845, and Mary-b. 1849. I also show these marriages-- A.J.to Mary S. SNEED (or SNEAD-?)
married on Oct. 3,1871; Frances to James W. ARNOLD- Nov. 18, 1868; Margaret to John FONDREN-no date; William L. to Eliza F. JONES
on Oct. 30, 1856; Jacob D. to Martha A. BROWN, on Feb. 9, 1856; Catherine to Thomas J. KING, on Aug. 1, 1844. This was found in a book called History of Early Bibb Co., AL 1820-1870, Library #'s;

The Library I used is called the Clayton Library, a very large Genealogical library in Houston, Harris County, TX. Unfortunately this is all I have been able to get, and I am
requesting help from anyone who can help fill in the "blanks", starting with the brothers, sons, and their families etc. Some of David Sr.'s descendants later settled in Humble, Harris County, TX and some of their descendants are still here. David,son of Andrew, is the brother of my direct ancestor Jacob, who settled in Rankin County, Mississippi, around the same time David and his family settled in Bibb County, Alabama. Thanks in advance for any help, which is Greatly Appreciated. I would be Very Glad to exchange Info. about MS and TX Kershes for AL Kersh Info. Thanks again, Robert.
