Currently researching the David TERRY family who settled in BIBB and Perry Counties. Censue records indicate he was born in SC but possibly from VA.
His wife's name was Nancy/Mancey (in his will dated 1846 she is listed as Manna F. ) not sure of her maiden name. Sources indicate it was Jordan--but have not documented this.
David's will lists 13 heirs, I have info on all 13.
including my 3rd great grandfather,
John H. TERRY who married Elizambeth Emily (Betsey) Baker. I have info on all 15 of their children.
My 2nd gr. grandfather was David Sherlock Lipscomb TERRY who married Elizabeth Warren.
My gr. grandfather was David Starling TERRY who married Dovie (Addie W.) Mosely.
My grandfather was Archie Richmond TERRY who married Bama E. McKenzie.
I still have some un answered questions , so If you have any information on this family--I would greatly appreciate it--no matter how small.
