Henry T Kemp

I am looking for information on Henry T. Kemp listed on the Alabama Civil War Muster Rolls, 1861-1865. He served in the 44th Alabama Infantry. There was a Henry Kemp born abt 1830 on the 1870 Federal Census in Barbour, Ala. My Kemps moved from the Pike County area to Mississippi and a Henry Kemp was on the 1850 census with my relatives. I believe he may have gone back to Alabama as he was not listed on the 1860 census and not living in the area on his own.

Thanks.
