Montana Victoria Hinson

I am looking for information on my grandmother Montana Victoria Hinson. She was born August 4, 1883 to John Hinson who moved from Illinois to I think Alabama. He married Louetta Burros in 1882. One record says her mother's name was Mary Etta Burroughs. You may say with this information what do I need. She had three children when she married my grandfather Marion Burt Hall in Smith Co Texas. We can find no record of this first marriage. It is also beleived she may have been part Cherokee or have a connecton to the Cherokee Nation. Can you heop me fill in the blanks on this family history?

Thanks You for your help.
Norma
