I'm hoping to make contact with anyone researching the names SCRUSE and SCREWS in Barbour County, Alabama. I have recently discovered that SCRUSE was the maiden name of Kathleen JACKSON, the mother of the singer Michael JACKSON. Does anyone have any information on this line?

I'm hoping to find living SCRUSE and SCREWS descendants to join our DNA project. I have an English SCRUSE line which originates in Urchfont, Wiltshire, in the 1600s. We now have an English Scruse taking part in the project. Are there any Americans out there who would like to compare their DNA and see if they are related to our English Scruse line?
