Gloria I will give you this much on the Hinson's. L. Hinson on the 1860 Census Barbour Co. with Lucy & Levi was indeed Lanie Hinson. Lanie and Needham Hinson married in NC. 1816 and lived there at least until 1850. Needham died in 1850 in Ala. They had the following children: "Robin" Robert Hinson b:Feb. 05, 1816, Elizabeth Hinson b: 1818 Edith (Eady)Ann Hinson b: 1823 Aaron M. Hinson b: 1824 Martin M. Hinson 1830 Lewis Hinson b: 1835, Mary Alise Hinson b: 1838 Lucy M.Hinson b: Nov. 24, 1838 Levi b. 1840 and d: June 27, 1863 Port Hudson Louisana (age 23) Battle of Port Hudson during the Civil War. Martin M. Hinson also served for the confederacy from Barbour Co. I have his complete record of actions during the war.
