Thweatts in Barbour County

There were many Thweatt's in Barbour County in the 1850-1870s.The main family I am researching is Daniel Defoe Thweatt who married Martha Redmon. They had at least seven children in Eufaula between 1850 and 1860. Daniel and his wife were born in SC. But I have no info on where in SC. Can anyone out there help me?
