Thanks for your reply to my query. I really think that Martin M. Hinson may be my GGrandfather. I know that he married Mary Albritton and they had a daughter named Lucy Jane and a son named N.H. Hinson. I think that Martin Hinson served in a new Co A. 5th Infantry having joined May 15th 1861. If this is the correct Martin Hinson there was a third child born in 1868,her name was Mattie. Now when I discovered Mattie and her brother whom we knew as Dock were living in Tex. with their Mother Mary who had married William James Lloyd. What happened to Martin?
