I searched the NC Marriage Collection and found a marriage record for NANCY EAKIN AND ROBERT MCLEAN, dated 7 May 1791. The record can be found at the Guilford Co., Courthouse in Greensboro, NC under file number, County Court Records - FHL # 0536823-0536828.

I also searched Rootsweb.com and found a Nancy Aiken, born in Antrim Co., Ireland in 1771, d/o William Lloyd Aiken and Sarah Thompson. Other believed children of William and Sarah were: James (Knob Hill) Aiken and Catherine (Kay) Aiken. It kind of looks like that William, Sarah, James and Catherine migrated to Fairfield Co., SC, if the information provided is correct. It gives William's parents as William Lloyd and Unknown.

This was posted to me by Bryson on Guilford County, North Carolina Board. Jluy 4th.

Does any one have any further information on this line of AKIN family?
